Amiga 2500

Please read an introduction to Amigas in the Amiga 1000 entry.

A simple variation on the Amiga 2000. This model actually reads "Amiga 2000" on the serial number sticker. So, what's the difference? The defining feature of the Amiga 2500 is that it came with either a 68020 or 68030 cpu upgrade on either an A2620 or A2630 cpu card. It also came with a hard drive card. My own unit has a 4MB A2630 card.

Statistics, features, and A2500 resources:

Personal Note: Another eBay find. Purchased merely out of curiousity. Will be quickly put away. :)
